Soresu, the Way of the Mynock, or the Resilience Form, was the third of the seven classic forms of lightsaber combat that was recognized by the Jedi Council prior to and during the Clone Wars. Soresu relied on tight bladework and subtle dodges to provide maximum defensive coverage, minimizing exposure to ranged weaponry. Over time, Soresu transcended this basic origin, and came to be considered the ultimate expression of non-aggressive Jedi philosophy. It focused on strong defensive technique to essentially outlast an opponent, waiting until he/she began making mistakes due to frustration or fatigue, before taking advantage of these lapses and countering. However, despite its effectiveness, Soresu would receive heavy criticism due to its lack of offensive capabilities, as it facilitated survival rather than victory.
Skills:
Stance Change: You must have this skill in order to use more than one stance. The first skill taken for lightsaber determine your primary stance and is the only stance you can use till you take stance change (you do not need to get this feat more than once). In combat you must use this skill and state what stance you are switching to before using a skill under a different another lightsaber stance. ex stance change Shii-cho.
Circle of Shelter: a technique where the user creates a protected area around themselves and allies (?) making
it difficult to hit. (+5 to dodge)
Deflecting slash: A technique where the user redirects the moment of blocking an enemy projectile (attack?) into a slashing attack at an adjacent target. (counter attack)
